Adoptive Parents
The journey of adoption can be a confusing one. Families of FANA acts as a support group for adopting families throughout the process. We are not an agency, but a network of families who have adopted or are completing an adoption. Families pursuing an adoption through FANA are assigned “buddy families” who assist new members with the adoption process and help new families find their way in our organization. In addition, there are several informational meetings concerning preparing adoption paperwork and preparing for your trip to Colombia, as well as baby care and other helpful information. Families who adopt through Lutheran Service Society (LSS) and Families of FANA are never left in the dark.
